This year too was no different and the Hamirians could hardly contain themselves as the vast array of interesting activities enticed them Hamirians greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall. The motto of our House is “Tenacity and valour” which has been hence proved. We emphasize that all Hamirians should inculcate high imagination and creativity. The House excelled in almost all spheres and the students with the support of their House staff put in their maximum efforts in bringing crown to the House . Hamirians are very determined to be the best and are striving to attain the task.

Academics

Class XII ( AISSCE 2023 ) result of Hamir house was Excellent as Cadet 5849 Arijit Singh secured III position in class with 80.6%. No cadet of Hamir failed in any class from VII to X.

School Appointments

The Hamirians took on responsibilities for both the House and the school discharged their duties with aplomb and set example for others to emulate. The House got representation in the School appointments where 5664 Ayush Singh was appointed the School Academic captain.

Sports Activities

To start with the inter house sports competitions, Hamir house cadets played extremely well with true sportsmanship and managed to bag good positions in every Inter house event. In Inter house Hockey Tournament, the hamirian played with great pride and vigour in both the Senior and Junior category and the senior team won Inter house hockey championship. Cadet 5758 Akhilesh secured Silver medal in Inter house Cross Country Championship. Cadet 6190 Anusk won gold medal in Inter house Boxing Championship and was adjudged as Best Boxer in Junior Category. Cadet 5758 Akhilesh and Cadet 6227 Rachit won Gold and Silver medal respectively in their weight category in inter house boxing Championship.

Cadet 5957 Rajneesh, 5958 Siddharth Singh, 5758 Aryan yadav represented School team at All India Sainik Schools National Games 2023 held at Sainik School Rewa. Cadet 6227 Rachit was a proud member of School U-14 Football team won the Zonal Tournament at Sainik School Chandrapur and also represented West Zone at Inter zonal Football Championship held at Sainik School Goalpara where they stood second Runners up.

Co-Curricular Activities

Hamir House yet again showcased its skills in the field of literary and cultural activities. Cadet 6150 Aditay and 5983 Bhupendra secured I and II positions respectively in English essay Writing Competition. Hamirian also performed well in the Inter House Hindi Debate where Cadet 5968 Lucky Bijarnia Stood III .

Cadet 6071 Rajveer and 6009 Reshav showed their flair with colours in Drawing completion and stood I and III respectively.

Cadet 6121 Ansh Bilwal and 6143 Aarav Janu were the part of School contingent visiting Sainik School Goalpara for Student exchange programme under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat campaign .

NDA Selections

In its truest sense the victory of the house lies in its cadets ‘Never Give Up’ approach and determination to do better with each passing year.

Out Five cadets of Hamir house that had appeared for UPSC NDA 2023 Written Examination 02 had cleared UPSC written.
