Hobby Clubs

Painting Club

The Painting Club is a place for aspiring artists to grow and realize their full creative potential in a safe and supportive environment. Its goal is to fully engage participants in a dynamic realm of artistic inquiry. Through fostering a passion for the expressive art and uniting like-minded individuals for collaborative creative environment. The club's main objective is to support one another as resources and help members grow as artists in order to promote a creative community.

Cadets carve out their impression as a still snapshot. The lines of sketches, contrast strokes, collage, shades, tones and textures are fundamental of these snapshots.

Craft Club

The Craft Club at Sainik School Chittorgarh is a vibrant and creative space where Cadets with an artistic flair come together to explore and express their creativity. The club aims to provide a platform for Cadets to engage in various craft activities, fostering a spirit of innovation and imagination. The Craft Club at Sainik School Chittorgarh contributes to the holistic development of Cadets by nurturing their creativity, instilling a sense of discipline, and fostering an appreciation for the arts. It serves as a testament to the school’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond academics.

Photography Club

The photography club of  our  school is  multifacet, aiming to achieve various educational, creative, and community-building goals. Here are some common purposes of a photography club of the school:

Skill Development: Provide a platform for students to enhance their photography skills.
Creative Expression: Foster a space for creative expression and artistic exploration.
Community Building: Build a community of like-minded individuals who share an interest in photography.

Exposure to Diverse Perspectives: Facilitate exposure to diverse perspectives through photography.

Astronomy Club

I/C : BHANDARKAR C L & CLUB MEMBERS 
Astronomy club consist of total 50 cadets members under the able guidance of physics teacher Mr Bhandarkar C L. Astronomy club is a unique club that popularizes astronomy and space science through various activities on the club day via video presentation, trips,on field night sky observation ,projects and class room interaction.

The basic aim is to enhance scientific temperament, critical thinking, effective peer group interaction , encouraged curiosity and vividly convey how astronomy affects our day to day life and nature. Outdoor night-sky observation is the main attraction among the members of astronomy club. Club members also participated in Chandrayaan-3 celebration by making model of spacecraft.

Hindi Dramatics Club

सैनिक स्कूल चित्तौड़गढ़ में विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए उनके रुचि के अनुसार अनेक क्लबों की स्थापना की गई है। जिसमें से हिंदी नाट्य क्लब एवं अंग्रेजी नाट्य क्लब भी एक महत्वपूर्ण क्लब है। इसके प्रभारी के रूप में अंग्रेजी नाटक क्लब की प्रभारी श्रीमती जयंती सक्सेना एवं हिंदी नाटक क्लब के श्री रमेश शाह है।

यह क्लब रंगमंच की अनूठी कला को जीवित रखने और युवाओं तक इसकी खुशी और ताकत पहुंचाने के लिए कार्य करता है। यह युवाओं को नाटकीय अभिव्यक्ति की ऊर्जा का अनुभव करने में मदद करता है और भावनात्मक बुद्धिमत्ता, सामाजिक क्षमताओं, समावेशी दृष्टिकोण, सहिष्णुता और टीम वर्क की क्षमता पैदा करने का प्रयास करता है।

English Dramatics Club

Dramatisation is the best way to express our thoughts and convey social messages’ English Dramatics Club organizes Debate and Drama sessions for the students to enhance their communicating, speaking and acting skills. The students get guidelines to improve their gestures, creativity, stage-craft and acting skills. The Drama Club is dedicated to exploring different forms of stage art to express and hone the skills of each member.In this Academic year twenty five students have been enrolled in Drama Club.They are involved in various aspects of a theatrical performance such as acting, scriptwriting etc.

For the all-round development of the students, many clubs have been established in Sainik School Chittorgarh as per their interests. Out of which Hindi Drama Club and English Drama Club are also important clubs.

Music Club

I/C : Mr Brijendra Singh
Music is a wonderful art form. everyone enjoys music, it gives us joy and happiness. It helps improve the memory too. Every special occasion in the school begins with the song presented by the Cadets of this club.

"In the shade of a towering tree wide in girth, Cadets wait for the master of music in school who comes humming a song with a bunch of keys and tries to tune both”. A rhythm of musical mood prevails in torso of cadets which proves to be strong that some pick up a baton to drum alongside thick trunk, some take to metal benches meant to sit to supplement in it the tint of sonorous sound, some just snap and a few flush throat to minstrel velvety soothing texture of their voice . The music is not in the notes but in the silence between ", music is every where to be heard ,music has power to Mold human character and healing him emotionally and mentally.

Air Rifle Shooting Club

I/C : Mr Dhiraj Sharma
The sophistication of today’s air rifle has to be seen to be believed totally recoilless, consistent accuracy from shot to shot, an adjustable , finely set two stage trigger and aperture sights with micrometer adjustment. The popularity of air rifle shooting worldwide has been recognized since 1980 by the inclusion of air rifle events in both the Olympic and commonwealth games programmes. Club have 24 members which provides platform to prove their interest in shooting sports , mainly 10 m rifle.

Our club increases strength , stamina , hand eye coordination and fine motor skill of cadets. Before holding rifle all members have to go through musketry (exercise of hands ) as shooting requires sturdy arms and hands , in order to aim and shoot. Members of club develop skill of holding rifle and stance while shooting.

Yoga Club

I/C : Mr Dinesh Kumar Sharma
With the commencement of International Yoga Day on June 21, 2015, the school administration established the Yoga Club with the objective of rejuvenating ancient Indian traditions among the cadets. Regularly, under the guidance of the Art of Living Foundation, the school organizes Yoga competitions and programs for the entire student body. The Yoga Club gathers every Wednesday from 16:00 to 17:00 with the following aims:

  1. Foster an understanding of yoga.
  2. Cultivate healthy habits in cadets.
  3. Instill humane values in cadets.
  4. Promote physical, emotional, and mental health through yogic activities.
  5. Enhance flexibility, balance, and posture
Chess Club

The game of chess holds a unique fascination. The strategic complexities offer lively minds an immediate challenge and stimulating exercise. It can be played for fun, or with increasing degrees of seriousness up to the highest levels of competition. Chess has many educational benefits, giving children intellectual capital and transferable skills such as focus, discipline, concentration, spatial awareness and strategic thinking.

There are total 45 students of all grades have been enrolled in the School Chess Club in the Academic Year 2023-24. Chess has a mathematical basis. Chess develops cognitive ability, attention, memory, analysis, and all fundamental building blocks for personal growth. Chess encourages self-assessment, healthy competition and teamwork.

Public Speaking Club

The Public Speaking Club at Sainik School Chittorgarh stands as a beacon for the forty cadets seeking to refine their oratory prowess under the able guidance of club In charges Mrs Pooja Singh Sisodia and Ms Priyanjali.

Our primary aim is to cultivate and sharpen the linguistic skills of our cadets, both in English and Hindi, providing a comprehensive foundation for effective communication. Within the club's nurturing environment, the club members immerse themselves in a diverse array of activities to master the art of hosting events, deliver compelling speeches, hone the techniques of declamation and engage in vigorous debates.

Creative Writing Club

Writing creatively is not only respected but also encouraged at Sainik School Chittorgarh. "Imagination Unleashed" is a testament to the notion that, via the persuasive power of language and narrative, each cadet has untapped potential that is just waiting to be realized. In this creative haven, literary exploration continues to flourish, offering budding authors a platform to unleash their imaginations and leave a lasting legacy through the written word. Under club incharge Miss Rupal Singh, the Creative Writing Club at Sainik School Chittorgarh, "Imagination Unleashed," is a lively assembly of 15 cadets who are enthusiastic about delving into the boundless potential of written expression.

Beyond simple literary expression, the club is an adventure in literature that aims to ignite passion for poetry, storytelling, and writing. Every Wednesday, the club participates in a variety of activities, such as Genre Jamborees, Collaborative Storytelling, Literary Talks, and Peer Critique Sessions, creating a setting where cadets hone their craft and find their own voices.
