HOUSE MOTTO: Triumphant & Benevolent
Like a steadfast flame that neither falters amidst adversity nor dims in moments of triumph, Ashoka–I house illuminated the academic session 2025-26 with its enduring spirit of discipline, resilience and excellence. Guided by its inspiring motto, “Triumphant and Benevolent,” the house nurtured cadets who harmonized humility with ambition and compassion with determination. Throughout the session, Ashoka–I house emerged as a vibrant constellation of talent, unity and perseverance, upholding the glorious ideals of the institution with pride and dignity.
The house carved a distinguished niche for itself in academics and literary pursuits. Cadet Shivam Yadav (6711), Cadet Shiv Pratap Singh (6671), Cadet Parixit Prakhar (6681), and Cadet Himanshu Raghuvanshi (6691) emerged as notable achievers through their remarkable dedication and scholastic brilliance. In literary competitions, Cadet Parixit Prakhar (6681) secured the second position in the Sub-Junior Essay Writing Competition while Cadet Yash Sisodiya (6683) secured the second position in the Inter-House Declamation Competition. Cadet Grivaan Rawat (6737) brought immense honour by securing the first position in the Inter-House Poem Recitation Competition reflecting the house’s emphasis on eloquence and intellectual excellence.
The sporting arena witnessed the remarkable prowess of Ashoka–I house throughout the session. During the Health Run organized on 20 September, 2025, Cadet Shiv Pratap Singh (6671) and Cadet Abhimanyu (6645) secured the first and third positions respectively, leading the house towards victory. The house further strengthened its sporting supremacy by emerging victorious in the Sub-Junior Boys’ Category during the Inter-House Athletics Meet held from 12 to 14 October, 2025. Cadet Shiv Pratap Singh (6671) was adjudged the ‘Best Athlete’ in the Sub-Junior category. The same duo once again brought glory to the house during the Inter-House Cross Country Competition held on 6 December, 2025.
On the occasion of National Science Day celebrated on 28 February, 2026, Cadet Garvit Dadhich (6603), Cadet Gourav Meena (6601), Cadet Apurv Singh Rawat (6611) and Cadet Somay (6599) enthusiastically participated in the Inter-House Model Making Competition reflecting scientific curiosity and innovation. A Talent Hunt organized on 6 September, 2025 provided a platform for new entrants to showcase their talents through dance, music and skits where Cadet Shivam Yadav earned immense appreciation for his impeccable anchoring skills.
The memorable House Picnic to Hamirgarh Eco Park and the vibrant House Social strengthened camaraderie and collective spirit among cadets.
Through perseverance, unity and unwavering determination, Ashoka–I house continued to uphold its glorious legacy and stride ahead towards greater heights of honour and excellence.
