The House is inspired by the bravest king of Mewar, the fabled Maharana Pratap. He is remembered in history as the only Rajput king who refused to submit to the power of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. A revered folktale, Maharana Pratap's valour and unwavering courage during the Battle of Haldighati have stood the test of time.
The love of freedom and the ultimate sacrifice made by Maharana Pratap for the country are at the core of the Pratapians' identity. His steadfast dedication to independence is an ongoing source of motivation for the members of this House. Like their honourable forebear, Pratapians are unstoppable, unstoppable, and they tackle every task with an extraordinary and singular flair.
