To groom the next generation of military leaders, the school conducted an intensive SSB training programme from 22 to 25 Oct 26 for 19 cadets who successfully cleared the UPSC written examination. The four-day capsule was spearheaded by distinguished alumni Commodore Yashwant Kumavat (Retd.) and Colonel Pramod Badsara (Retd.), who shared their vast expertise to prepare the candidates for the rigorous selection board. The comprehensive training covered every crucial aspect of the SSB evaluation, including intelligence and psychological assessments (OIR, PPDT, TAT, WAT, SRT), group dynamics (group planning and ground tasks), obstacle courses, and mock personal interviews. By focusing on leadership profiling, communication skills, and self-confidence, the programme successfully equipped the aspiring cadets with the strategic mindset and resilience needed to ace the upcoming selection process.
